Virus Bulletin for twenty years represents an impartial source of expert information on computer viruses and how to combat them. The best antivirus programs from their comparative tests are granted the VB100 award. AV-Comparatives

AV-Comparatives annually hold four major tests; two focus on demand classical scanning, and two focus on the ability to detect previously unknown malicious codes. Tested products may receive one of the three awards available. Ranked from lowest to highest they are Standard, Advanced and Advanced+.
