TrustPort will be present at the VB2009 conference
The annual Virus Bulletin conference has widely become one of the most important meetings of experts fighting against harmful codes. The VB2009 conference will take place between the 23rd and 25th of September 2009 in Geneva, Switzerland. Partners of the conference are the world's leading manufacturers of security software, and just as last year TrustPort is also a proud partner.
This is the nineteenth consecutive year the conference will be held. In previous years this prestigious event was held in different cities of Europe and North America; these include Prague, Chicago, Vienna and Ottawa. Each conference provides a unique opportunity for professionals in the area of information technology security to exchange their experiences and knowledge, to learn new trends in the spread of malicious codes, and most importantly the methods of combating them.
The VB2009 conference will be traditionally divided into two parallel programs. The first one will be focused commercially, and the second technically. Both conference days will offer several dozen lectures and company presentations, which will cover a range of issues in the field of computer security. The fight against spam and cybercrime will definitely be hot topics and will offer frequent feedback. The conference program will end with a panel discussion.
TrustPort company representatives headed by director Vladislav Nemec will attend the conference to present a new range of antivirus products for the next calendar year. Mainly TrustPort Antivirus and TrustPort PC Security, products aimed at individual computers, will receive significant changes. TrustPort USB Antivirus intended for use with flash drives will also be released in a new version with new features. All these solutions are suitable for both home users and for the corporate segment, in which the possibility of central management of TrustPort Antivirus and TrustPort PC Security will certainly be appreciated.
TrustPort sells its solutions through a worldwide partner network. For this reason the software is available not only in Czech and English, but during the past year has been localized into other languages including Spanish, German and Italian. The new web portal, which is currently available in English and Czech, will also be available in the near future in Spanish and German.
Virus Bulletin in addition to regular conferences also carries out independent comparative tests of antivirus software.
