Upgrade to TrustPort PC Security 2009

For all our customers with a valid license, we offer a free upgrade from earlier versions of TrustPort Antivirus and TrustPort PC Security to the new version of TrustPort Antivirus 2009 and TrustPort PC Security 2009.

Given the significant changes in the software, it is not possible to install the new version over the old version. Please follow the following steps:

1. Locate and save your license key.
a) If you have registered your current version of the software by inserting the license key, you might be able to find it in your e-mail as an attachment from TrustPort. Save this license key in a place where you will be able to locate it easily.
b) If you have registered your current version of the software entering a serial number, you can use this serial number to register the new version but it must be installed on the same computer as previously. If you do not have the serial number, you can locate the license key in the folder where you previously installed our software. Most likely the folder will be located in c: \ Program Files \ TrustPort Antivirus \ bin, and the file is called Antivirus.key. Copy this license key to a place where you will be able to locate it easily.
2. Uninstall the previous version of TrustPort PC Security or TrustPort Antivirus.
3. Install the new version of TrustPort PC Security or TrustPort Antivirus, depending on the title you have purchased.
4. Open the software settings and select the item license key which is located on the left side of the window and click Register. Follow the instructions wizard.

After the upgrade, you may find out Prepare BartPE plugin and Prepare TrustPort USB functions are not available. If this is the case, please inform our sales department at sales@trustport.com. Please don’t forget to include your serial number. We will fix your license key and report to you as soon as possible. Afterwards, please repeat the registration procedure, using your original serial number.
