Protection at the gateway
The solution acts as a secure gateway between the internal network and the Internet. You can monitor and even block web requests from any end station. Choice of permitted and prohibited web categories is carried out centrally for the entire corporate network.
Web categories
The software defines twenty-three categories of questionable web content. The customer decides which categories are undesirable. These categories can then be monitored within the network or directly blocked.
Multi-level filtering
Each web request passes through several levels of filtering. Firstly it is compared with the list of permitted and prohibited addresses, then it is compared with a database of categorized addresses, heuristic analysis of the website is also taken into account. If the web query is not stopped on any level, the website is downloaded.
Traffic statistics
Web traffic statistics are always at the administrator’s disposal. It is possible to view for example the most popular web servers, the most visited web categories, and the most active users in a given category, all in easily readable graphics.
Remote administration
The solution is controlled using a web interface, so it can be accessed in principle from any computer connected to the internet. Secure communication between the remote computer and the gateway is however necessary.
