Electronic signature

Electronic signature is a transformation of the original message with the help of cryptographic methods, ensuring the integrity of the message and authentication of the signee. For some purposes an advanced electronic signature with prescribed types of certificates is also required, basically based on a “qualified certificate". Electronic signing of the document provides:

• authenticity - you can verify the origin, i.e. the identity of the subject to whom the electronic signature belongs 
• integrity - it can be shown that after the signing of the document there has been no change to it, the file is not intentionally or accidentally damaged

While the electronic signature refers to a natural person acting on their own behalf or on behalf of a corporate entity or some other authority, an electronic sign may also indicate a corporate entity or organizational components of the state.
