Who inside Trustport can access my data? +
Only people who need access to do their work can access customer information. Privileged actions on production data also require a second approver.
Is my deposit safe if something goes wrong? +
Deposit funds are held in bare trust, separately from Trustport's operational accounts, and stay there until all parties confirm settlement.
Where is my data stored, and for how long? +
We explain how we handle personal information in our Privacy Policy. Trustport retains transaction records for seven years to meet its AML and record-keeping obligations.
Why do I need to verify my identity? +
Independent client verification is a legislative requirement for property transactions. Trustport handles it for you, checking your government ID and running PEP, sanctions and adverse media checks.
What if I get a suspicious email asking for bank details? +
Don't reply or act on it. Trustport will never ask for bank details by email, only through the verified, secure Trustport link. Report anything suspicious right away.
