VERIFIED & PROTECTED

Trustport encrypts data, verifies identities and requires approval for key actions, so fraud and mistakes don't slip through.

Independently verified

Independently audited, every year.

Every year, an independent firm audits our systems, controls and processes from top to bottom.

That audit checks our controls work the way we say they do, and catches gaps before they become problems.

We chose Bentleys for their standing in audit, risk and compliance. Each year, they review three things: our security, our processes and how we handle client funds. Everything is checked. Everything is documented.

Your money is protected at every stage.

Every transaction is covered, from first verification to final release.

Questions

Frequently asked

How is Trustport secured? +
Sensitive information is protected while it is stored and while it moves between systems, and the platform uses layered protections to help keep it available and secure. Trustport's licensing details are set out in full at the bottom of this page.
Who inside Trustport can access my data? +
Only people who need access to do their work can access customer information. Privileged actions on production data also require a second approver.
Is my deposit safe if something goes wrong? +
Deposit funds are held in bare trust, separately from Trustport's operational accounts, and stay there until all parties confirm settlement.
Where is my data stored, and for how long? +
We explain how we handle personal information in our Privacy Policy. Trustport retains transaction records for seven years to meet its AML and record-keeping obligations.
Why do I need to verify my identity? +
Independent client verification is a legislative requirement for property transactions. Trustport handles it for you, checking your government ID and running PEP, sanctions and adverse media checks.
What if I get a suspicious email asking for bank details? +
Don't reply or act on it. Trustport will never ask for bank details by email, only through the verified, secure Trustport link. Report anything suspicious right away.
